Since January, I’ve had a weekly gig on ABC 891 Adelaide radio. Big thanks to Michael Smyth for the opportunity.
Each week, we discuss trends in social media and share tips on how you might use platforms.
Yesterday (23 March 2012), we discussed YouTube and Wikipedia – the ‘forgotten social network’. Listen to it here: Prakky on ABC 891 Adelaide 23 March 2012
You can tune in to the 10-minute social media segment every Friday from 4.30pm, South Australian time. We welcome questions – phone 1300 222 891 or SMS 0467 922 891.
Good to know about this. I usually listen to Radio National, so will post a reminder to change stations at that time! Does 10 minutes seem long enough?
Yes, 10 minutes seems long enough! I’d rather more people called in though – next week? 😉
will get ready. Had 2 sessions on talkback radio in 1968 when it first started on 5AD – was on with Keith Conlon et al but it was scary and never my thing. you never know, I might have a query.
Mich – thanks for posting the audio … will this be a regular thing? It might mean I never miss it, just timeshift it 🙂
(which will prevent any interactivity, I know – but since I almost never listen to radio, and it’s a tricky time of the week for me, it will usually be the only way I get to it)
Yes Ric, it’s been on every Friday since late January and looks set to continue. Hope you can fit it into your calendar!
