Quick hot tips for new Facebook Pages

So the new Facebook Timeline layout for Facebook Pages is available now. I opted in this morning and just wanted to quickly share a handy hint for Page managers who may be scratching their heads.

Page managers now have a large Admin panel at the top of their page (which you can hide). This replaces the old ‘Edit page’ button we used to use to access editing features.

One of the best features of Pages is the ability to use Facebook as “your page” or as yourself, an individual. This is now found in the Admin section, under Manage. See the screengrab below:

Now let’s see everyone invest some time into new cover photos for pages!

Make sure you read the guidelines for the new Facebook Pages which includes, for example, rules about what you may use in your cover photo (links to Facebook PDF).
